Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was a decent choice overall. The rooms, although needing some improvement in space and equipment, were in pretty good condition. I had to rely on the AC to mask car noises on the 4th floor, quite a trek from the elevator. The service was exceptional, especially during an emergency, and the staff was hospitable, friendly, and knowledgeable about the city. The location was excellent for our activities, hassle-free checking in after a long drive, although limited in amenities nearby. The dining experience was satisfactory, but with room for more variety. Overall, a good stay with a few minor drawbacks.
Upon arrival, the hotel seemed a bit outdated, but the pleasant service and convenient location near Duke and UNC stood out. However, the overall appearance was disappointing with cleanliness issues and inadequate lighting. The dining options were below average for the price paid.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were clean and smelled great, but the bathroom had noticeable cleanliness issues. The service was excellent, with friendly and efficient staff, but the dining experience left something to be desired. The location was ideal for my needs, despite some noise disturbances. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
